The Haddad Project

It’s no secret that we love working with beautiful wallpapers and fabrics.

Enter: A client who loves romantic landscapes and vintage vignettes as much as we do.

The end result? The dreamiest home filled with timeless charm and character, perfectly complementing this family’s lifestyle and goals for their space.

When you first walk into this Belle Meade home, you’re greeted with a formal sunken living room that the couple wanted to transform into a space for hosting work colleagues. We leaned into a rich, deep color on the walls, trim, and ceiling to turn this previously-outdated living room into a luxurious study. We love the juxtaposition between the masculinity in the leather and plaid and femininity in the floral prints and paintings.

Custom built-ins adorn the largest wall in the room, featuring a dry bar perfect for our hosts to prepare drinks for their guests.

A lot of time was spent with this client finding the perfect antique pieces to complement the space; scouring the antiques & garden show, local antique stores, and even Facebook marketplace (our client has a great eye for steals.). It was truly a labor of love on both ends, and we gained not only a client but a friend in the process!

The wallpaper in the office has to be one of our all-time favorites – maybe that we’ll ever design with, period. We’re so grateful that our clients trusted us with our vision for the space.

The office is such a fun play on visuals with color and texture. And again – don’t miss those antique pieces that took hours of carefully perusing to source!

Moving right along to the family’s informal living room, we added some depth to the bright space with a (gorgeous) custom sideboard and chaise to accompany the large sectional.

You don’t always need a complete overhaul to improve a kitchen (although let us be the judge of that when we see your kitchen!). Just a few simple updates really made all the difference in this kitchen.

We painted the island, tiled the backsplash, and added new pendant lights and counter stools. Perhaps the biggest change here was updating the existing white ceiling beams to a stained white oak. Beautiful!

Last but not least, the dining room. Once again, another wow moment with the wallpaper.

It was important to this family to have a large dining table, so this one was custom made to accommodate ten.

This space is light and airy with just the right amount of character.

So there you have it! Let us know – what’s your favorite room in this house?
